Let me say right off the bat that this would probably delight someone with different scent sensibilities . I’m just not that person.
Milk Orchid (sprayed on a tester card) opens with an absolute blast of rich, heavy caramel. The kind made with heavy cream and molten sugar. It’s redolent in its rich sweetness. This is immediately followed by sharp cedar to cut and balance it. I got no floral notes at all, but I didn’t test it long because with my sensitive nose, it was both too sweet and too sharp. I knew it wasn’t for me, so I let it go. I can tell that the notes are well done, if strong; so I’m going to pass it on to my niece and her cohorts. This feels designed for a younger set.
It’s definitely worth testing, but I would recommend against a blind buy.
