The Scent That Started It All

It began with a borrowed bottle. Emma shared a review of her roommate’s Milk Expressive bottle on TikTok, not expecting it to go viral. But the internet had other plans…

That video launched an entire Milk Perfume Series on TikTok, with Emma diving deep into the world of creamy, milky lactonics—long before they became a trend. Her thoughtful takes made her the go-to voice for the category and ignited her passion for perfumery.

Lactonics Take Off

Glossy, Allure, and Vogue agreed, "Milk took over beauty in 2024"—from fragrance to skincare, nail art, hair care, and beyond. The beauty world is taken over by a craving for scents and textures that felt creamy, comforting, and nostalgic.

The Next Chapter of Milk

We partnered with Emma—a true Milk Expressive fan and lactonic scent expert—to bring her dream Milk to life. The result? Milk Orchid: a soft, floral twist on the original. Still cozy and creamy, with Milk’s signature warmth and our modern point of view.

Minutes After Launch: Milk Orchid Sells Out

Originally a limited-edition drop, Milk Orchid instantly became our biggest launch to date. After selling out online and at Sephora in under 10 minutes, hundreds of 5-star reviews poured in, along with nonstop requests to bring it back.

2026

From Dream Scent To Global Phenomenon

Now, Milk Orchid moves from dream drop to global mainstay, officially joining our permanent Scent Space Collection. Returning March 31 in new packaging and on shelves worldwide, including Sephora.

    Coconut is probably my favourite note in this, though it’s not too strong. It’s a nice summery scent that I feel you could wear day and night. Definitely my favourite of the Milks

    So happy I saved up for this

    Love this so much. It smells warm, sweet and comfy with a hint of floral. The coconut cream is not overpowering, but it gives the perfume along with the fig milk, macadamia milk and cotton this creamy, velvety, sweet and warm feel, while the florals balance it out, so it also has a bit of a clean smell like a milk dessert, although I thought it would smell milkier.

    I can't make out the indivudual notes though, which isn't a bad thing, it's just blended well and the smell is addicting to me. I can't stop sniffing myself, when wearing this.

    Also got a lof of compliments for this one - not from strangers, because strangers usually don't got out of their way to give compliments, but from friends and family.

    The longevity is also great, I usually spray my perfume in the morning and don't refresh it unless I'm going out in the evening again. Still I can still smell it on myself in the evening and on my clothes for several days.

    I maybe would have wished for a cap though to complete the flakon, not just because it looks pretty, but also because it protects the sprayer-head from falling off.
